Dressing Babies, Like Babies

At Royal Knits, we believe babies should be dressed like babies.

In matching knitted sets, traditional details and little bonnets. In outfits that celebrate just how little they are, during those first months that somehow pass far too quickly.

Royal Knits is a UK-based traditional babywear brand, specialising in Spanish-style baby clothing made in Spain and Portugal. But the story behind it started long before Royal Knits did.

A Spanish Way of Dressing Little Ones

Growing up in Spain, matching baby sets, beautiful knitwear and bonnets were simply part of the way I was used to seeing little ones dressed. There was something so special about it — unmistakably traditional, beautifully made and, most importantly, still wonderfully baby-like.

After moving to the UK, I found it surprisingly difficult to find the same thing. Not only the Spanish style I knew and loved, but the quality of European-made babywear created by specialist makers who truly understand clothing for little ones.

I wanted to bring the two together.
And so, Royal Knits began.

MADE IN SPAIN & PORTUGAL

Our collections are made by small, family-run makers in Spain and Portugal, chosen for their specialist knowledge of babywear and traditional European craftsmanship.

MADE FOR DELICATE SKIN

A baby's skin is delicate, so softness and comfort are always at the heart of our knitwear. Our knitted sets use a specialist seamless knitting technique, creating a beautifully smooth finish that adapts gently to a baby's body.

For the Months You'll Always Remember

The early days. The first outings. Family celebrations. The photographs you'll keep returning to long after they've outgrown the outfit.

Those little moments have a way of becoming the big memories.
Traditional pieces, made with care, for the littlest years.

Dress them little, while they're little.
